EKU Announces Dates for Paramedic Entrance Exam

Students wishing to apply for the 2016-2017 cohort of Advanced Sequence Paramedic classes should apply for the mandatory entrance exam as given by Eastern Kentucky University Department of Paramedicine.  In order to be considered, students must either have completed ALL pre-requisite classes prior to the May 15, 2016.  The exam will be scheduled on the following dates and will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. EST:

• Monday, February 29, 2016
• Tuesday, March 1, 2016
• Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Candidates need to select and sign up for one date only.  No one will be admitted to the exam site after 5:00 p.m. EST.  The exam will cover the following content areas:

•  Anatomy and Physiology
• Math Calculations
• EMT Basic
• Reading Ability
• Drug Calculations
• ECG Rhythm Strip Identification
