EMC Student Serves Others

EMC Student Serves Others

Caitlin Crump is a graduate with a major in Athletic Training.  As part of her coursework, she also successfully completed an EMT and obtained licensure as well.  In August she traveled to an international university where she enrolled to begin learning the local language and to teach English.  Many of their fellow students are eager to practice their English speaking skills with Caitlin and the others who are a part of their group.  Even during a rain storm, their new friends are anxious to talk with English speaking students!  According to Caitlin, they have already met up with over 100 new friends with many more to come.

The EKU EMC Department of Paramedicine is incredibly proud of Caitlin as well as all of our other students who attend the paramedic program.  The importance of serving others is stressed within our program.  To learn more about how you can help others with emergency medical care skills, visit our website at emc.eku.edu or contact bill.young@eku.edu.
