Bio

In addition to serving as an adjunct instructor for the Eastern Kentucky University Emergency Medical Care Program, Doug Petch is an instructor and the Clinical Coordinator for the Flathead Valley Community College Paramedic Program in Kalispell, Montana. He also serves as the Team Paramedic with the Flathead County Search and Rescue Team and is a wilderness medical instructor for Aerie Backcountry Medicine. Doug is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and is licensed to practice in Montana with endorsements for Critical Care Transport and Lead Instructor. He holds an Associates Degree in Paramedicine, a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, a Masters Degree in Management and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management.

Prior to beginning a career in Paramedicine, Doug retired as a First Sergeant from the United States Army. Having previously lived in the Lexington Kentucky area for over 10 years after retirement, he and his wife now call Northwest Montana home.
